JMDS was founded in 1999 by John and Jennifer Duffey, two military and law enforcement veterans with a high degree of patriotism and desire to keep the country on top of the world. Originally, JMDS was an imaging company that provided crime scene and other evidentiary imaging services to various federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies. After the events of 9/11, JMDS was called on to support the United States Military as it strove to prepare itself to engage an entirely new enemy using completely different tactics than any other opposition force encountered. JMDS quickly stepped up to the plate and began providing specialized services and products to the U.S. Department of Defense designed to enhance live simulation realism and familiarity with enemy ground and unconventional tactics.  Supporting the Military allowed JMDS to expand its role in supporting the United States Government in its struggle against terrorism and criminal activity. Such products as training aid IED and weapons systems, Role Player Support Operations, and instructional services. Later, JMDS began to develop its IT infrastructure and with that came even more services that it has made available to the Government at different political levels. JMDS-IT provides Website Design and Hosting, Networking design and maintenance, and web-based solutions for everything from instruction operations to secured communications solutions over long distances.
